2011 Report

Meetings 2011

We held 21 meetings with an average of 16 participants. The meetings were attended by 60 different participants (including approximately 10 guests). We welcomed 10 new members.

Activities 2011

• Stands: 5 major stands on May 28, June 26, August 27, October 9, and December 10, and 4 small ones in different churches.
• Runs: We participated in runs on January 1, May 1, June 26 (Ten Mile Walk), November 6, and November 20 and received donations amounting to €2700 for our runners.
• Pub Crawl: We had one "pub crawl" collection evening during which we received donations amounting to €340.
• Open-Air Events: 3 Mauerpark signature collections, Umweltfest, Flahmob Syria.
• Vigils: Members of our group participated in three vigils in front of the embassies of Russia, Belarus, and Azerbaidschan.
• Talks and Shows: Gender-based violence in Cambodia, Caritas gathering on Cambodia, FU talk on the tribunal in Cambodia, 2 movie presentations.
• Central Events: Annual General Meeting, Amnesty Bezirk Garden party, Day against Death Penalty, Human Rights Day.
• Social Group Events: Members hosted a Garden Party and a Christmas party for the group.
